The Colby family hired us to update their kitchen in 2011. While on the job, they asked if we could build out some extra space in their attic, which we answered yes to of course! We then designed a plan to fit their needs in 2013. The attic conversion consisted of building a staircase in a space that hadn’t been used much, the formal living room. The new staircase leads you upward to a beautifully beamed cathedral ceiling family/media room, flanked by a guest bedroom and full bath. Attic conversions are a simple way to add inexpensive space to a home, while adding more in the future. The newly built space computes into valuable square footage increases for a homeowner down the road.
“Gary Randolph is truly a Godsend!!! Gary made our house into the home of our dreams by adding nearly 1,000 square feet in a second floor to our 1-story home. We were faced with the decision to either move to a larger home, or build upwards. We chose to stay and build with Gary and it was the best decision we could have made! Gary was a true professional throughout the entire remodel/build and always did his best to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and communicate progress.”
